The Next Assassin’s Creed Games Coming 2014!

A Still From The Video For AC Unity Leaked By Ubisoft. Credit Here.

I am not a gamer really by any means, but I have a soft spot for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series. Since I first played AC2, I have loved the premise of the games and they have captivated me with their open-world gameplay.

The AC series takes place in the past, with the reason for each locale and time period decided by what is going on in the present. So far, the series has gone to Crusade-era Holy Land, Renaissance Italy, Borgia Rome, Ottoman Istanbul, the American Revolution, and the when pirates plagued the Caribbean. My favorite game is AC3, the American Revolution set one.

The information for the next games leaked and tells us that 2 games are coming in 2014. One, which has been confirmed by Ubisoft, is called Assassin’s Creed Unity. Taking place in the French Revolution-era, the protagonist is a new character, Arno, and it includes the famous turmoil, guillotines, and style of the French in this era.

The other game, titled Assassin’s Creed: Comet, has not been officially confirmed by Ubisoft, but has hinted it will this Friday (March 28th). The character in this is Eseosa, Adewale’s (from AC4) grandson. Now, this is the part that excites me: the press release leaking this information reads, ““Assassin’s Creed Comet tells the story of Eseosa, grandson of Adéwalé from Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry, who needs to seek the advice and guidance of Connor. Eseosa is an intelligent young man with a naive personality” I love Connor, his story and heritage (half-British, half-Mohawk native). I was hoping that he would make a comeback, and he is! Master Assassin Connor Kenway.

Can’t wait for Holiday 2014.
